A 79 year old male with a history of diabetes mellitus, renal failure on dialysis, congestive heart failure and a previous stent placed at another facility in 2017, presented with shortness of breath. Abnormal wall motion was found by echocardiogram, therefore, a catheterization was performed. (Click images to enlarge.)
This was a perfect case to use the Ostial Flash balloon because the artery will now be preserved for re-access in the future in a patient with many coronary risk factors.
